Instrument sterilisation
Every reusable instrument is cleaned and then autoclave-sterilised between patients, following standard infection-control protocol.
Single-use items
Needles, suction tips and a number of other items are single-use, opened fresh for each patient and discarded afterwards.
Surface disinfection
Treatment room surfaces, including the dental chair and surrounding equipment, are disinfected between every patient.
Protective equipment
Clinical staff wear gloves, masks and protective eyewear during every procedure, changed between patients.
